Payments and Invoicing
All Dog Adventures Northwest workers are hired as Independent contractors. In February of each year, you will receive a Wage and Tax Statement (W-2), which will report your Dog Adventures Northwest earnings from the previous year. It is your responsibility to include this information when you file, and pay all taxes. As an independent contractor, taxes are not taken out of the pay you receive from Dog Adventures Northwest, so it's a good idea to set aside between 25% and 30% of all of your earnings for taxes. As an independent contractor, you are also responsible for paying for your own car, gas, and supplies, though all of these expenses are deductible. It is recommended you download an app to track mileage and other business-related expenses to make calculating these deductions easier.
Clients pay online for all Dog Adventures Northwest services, and contractors receive a 75% commission of all services rendered, which is paid on the 15th and 30th of each month, via mailed check.
In addition to the 75% commission, contractors also earn $25 for every new client Meet-and-greets, a $50 client referral bonus, and 100% of all tips.
