Kristen is an enthusiastic lover of nature and animals of all kind, but especially her two delightfully active border collies named Fish and Zengo! A lifelong friend to dogs, Kristen began her dog training adventure at the age of 10 and continues to infuse play and joy into the lives of the animals she works with. She has taught obedience, canine good citizens, and trick classes professionally, and has been working for the last five years training and handling dogs for Humane Wildlife Management work. Over the years, Kristen has worked in the world of herding, agility, canine frisbee, and flyball. Her latest adventure has been to teach her younger pup to be a scent detection dog for Oregon white and black truffles, yum! All of Kristen’s dog interactions focus on fun relationship- and confidence-building activities that keep your canine friend active, engaged, and well. Kristen thrives when running through the woods with a pack of dogs, and would love to welcome your dog into the fold!
