Kate has always had a love for animals and the outdoors. After 18 years working in office administration, she decided to follow her love of animals and nature and create a new career working with dogs. Kate has been serving as the Board Secretary of Whole Dog Academy, an education and research based nonprofit organization, for the last three years. Currently, Kate is studying to become a dog trainer through Whole Dog Academy’s rigorous canine behavior and dog training program. Kate’s family includes her husband, a 6 year old daughter and a 3 year old labradoodle named Powells. Kate practices force-free, fear-free, positive training techniques. Kate would love to take your dogs on City or Country Adventures and is also available for Adventure Boarding when you need to be out of town and want to know your dog is in a loving home getting lots of exercise, pets and love. Your furry family members can expect a day full of fun, adventure, exercise, and a lot of love with Kate.
